Our Approach
Bereavement support with choice, privacy and clear boundaries.
Covely Support gives families a private place to reflect, remember and use practical tools in their own time after a funeral. It is designed to complement — not replace — the personal, professional and specialist support around them.
Families remain in control.
There is no fixed programme, required sequence or pressure to participate. An invitation simply gives access; each person decides whether, when and how they use Covely.
Choice, not a fixed path
Families choose the tools that feel useful to them, when to use them and when to return.
Private by design
Funeral homes manage invitations and access, while a family’s private wellbeing activity remains their own.
Clear and considered
Tools use straightforward language, have a clear purpose and always give someone an obvious way to pause or leave.
Human support stays central
Covely is an additional place to turn, not a substitute for relationships, professional judgement or specialist support.
Scope of the service
Clear about what Covely does — and what it does not.
Covely Support offers tools for reflection, remembrance and difficult moments after a loss. It does not diagnose or treat physical or mental health conditions, provide counselling or therapy, or act as an emergency service. It does not promise a particular outcome from grief.
When more support is needed
Covely is designed to recognise when its role ends. Families are given clear routes to appropriate professional, specialist and emergency support whenever more help is needed.
